Welcome <<visitor>>

I know I'm asking for somebody to point out some horrible oversight in something we've produced, but look at this image. "Welcome <> to our store."
Can it really be that the developers of this site never stopped to think -- "So, what do we want to print in the case that the user is not logged in?" (And never caught it in testing!)
