Via DaringFireball, The Deck’s updated privacy statement reads:
On rare occasions, we have allowed specific advertisers to use a simple 1x1 tracking pixel for limited periods of time. Given the current environment, we’re not going to be doing that any more.
Saying your tracking was limited to an itty-bitty 1x1 tracking pixel, is like saying your lie was little and white. Tracking is tracking, just like a lie is a lie.
The Deck forgot that trust is like a piece of paper—once it’s crumpled, it can’t be perfect again.
